The way a problem gets defined usually determines whether the solution works. Before I build anything, I spend time making sure we're solving the right problem — by gathering insight from the people who know. Interviewing internal stakeholders, reviewing historical data, and pressure-testing assumptions before a single slide gets built.

Beyond The Resume
The experiences that don't always fit on a resume are often the ones that shape how I lead, adapt, and show up in every room.
I moved almost every two years growing up — multiple middle schools, multiple high schools, places as far as Alaska. You learn fast how to read a room, earn trust quickly, and adapt without losing yourself. That instinct still shows up every time I walk into a new organization.
I played basketball at the collegiate level. The part that shaped me most wasn't the wins — it was coming back from physical injuries when the easy choice was to step away. That experience taught me what grit actually looks like when it's inconvenient, and it's the standard I hold myself to in every room I enter.
While at BCG, I led pro bono analysis for a Dallas social equity coalition, mapping food desert severity across ZIP codes using Census and supermarket data to inform retailer engagement strategy. It reinforced that analytical work can matter well beyond the bottom line.
